Paul Gawley
Envoy Advisory Board Member

Paul has been directly involved in the successful delivery of numerous projects, managing the construction of large and small complicated undertakings totaling over 15 million SF throughout the United States. Many of these are newer landmarks ranging from high-rise structures to small, single-tenant buildings -- including infrastructure projects of all sizes. In 2004, Paul founded Gawley, Inc., which provides small- to mid-sized real estate developers with project management services and has delivered a series of major projects throughout the United States.

Previously, Paul was Senior Vice President of Construction for ORIX Real Estate Equities, a "top 50" national real estate development company. Prior to his position with ORIX, he was a project superintendent for Schal Associates, which at the time was one of Chicago’s most prominent construction companies, currently known as Bovis Lend Lease.  Some of Paul's more notable projects include Chicago’s Harold Washington Library, United Airlines Headquarters Building and American Medical Association World Headquarters, to name a few.

Paul began his career serving in the Naval SeeBees (US Navy Construction Battalions), after which he worked in the construction trades while attending college. Following, he was employed in a variety of construction disciplines: as an estimator, a superintendent, a project manager and a project executive.

Paul is a State of Florida Licensed Florida General Contractor, an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified Building Operator by the NorthWest Energy Efficiency Council.  He earned an AAS in Building Construction from the College of DuPage.
